i will never understand some peoples extreme opposition to comparing the remakes or liking part of one remake better than the original. what’s the point of having remakes if they’re only trying to copy the original and not striving be better in certain ways? there’s nothing wrong with seeing and commenting on the strengths and weaknesses of the different versions
