on the topic of irl lgbt communities, a while ago one of the skam spain actresses said pansexuality was biphobic and pansexies on tumblr had a seiziure about it but it didn’t surprise me at all because spain has a strong bisexual community and activism which makes it easier to deal with internalised biphobia which in turn not only makes pansexuality redundant but also makes it easier for people to recognise pansexuality as redundant and biphobic and spanish fans were trying to explain to everyone that the local cultural context of pansexuality is different and people just didn’t get it
what i’m saying is, strong irl communities literally change everything
